Google has come up with some new announcement at the Google I/O Developers Conference with regards to some new features and upgrades to Google Maps and Places APIs.

The Google Maps Product Manager, Thor Mitchell announced that business reviews will now be available on the Google Places API. The top five reviews associated with a business listing will be accessible. However, no explanation on how these top five business listings will be determined was given.
